ONT

ONT is short for Optical Network Terminal. It is a device that converts optical signals from fiber optic cables into electronic signals that can be used by devices such as computers and routers. ONTs are typically used in fiber optic networks to provide a connection between the fiber optic cables and the devices in a home or business. They are often used in conjunction with a modem and a router to provide Internet access and other communication services over a fiber optic connection.
